An elite military group called ELEMENT is the government's greatest weapon. They're the best of the best, the top soldiers from every planet in the solar system. Yet underneath their training and skills, Marcus Connely and his fellow commrades are nothing more than a group of people affected by the war -people who have lost loved ones and seek nothing but justice and honor.

Cities are dying -citizens killed in their sleep and the towns left to rot. Slowly, the Brigs have begun to take over every government-run city on the nearby planets with their new Death Squads... without leaving a trace of their presence.

With a new mystery on their hands, ELEMENT meets a new level of stress and distrust, showing that the Brigs are not the only humans succeptable to corruption. Adrianne, the Falcon's Aviation Specialist, and her friends begin to question where their loyalty truly lies. And Marcus begins to join them in thought.
